Description
The hand that held yours first. The one that fixed things, signed every card, reached for yours under the table.
Their real fingerprint, engraved into a small gold or silver pendant, on a box chain made to be worn every day. On the back, against your skin, add their name, a date or a few words in their own handwriting.
Everyone else sees a beautiful necklace. You know whose hand it is.
How to send us their fingerprint
You don't need anything special. Any one of these works:
- Ink and paper. Press the fingertip onto an ink pad, then roll it gently onto plain white paper and lift straight up.
- Pencil and tape. Scribble a patch of pencil on paper, press the fingertip into it, then lift the print off the finger with clear tape and stick the tape onto white paper.
- A photo of the finger. In good daylight, with your flash off, hold the phone close and make sure the ridges are sharp.
- A print you already have. A photo or scan of a print on paper, a card or a keepsake works too.
Upload the photo right on this page when you order. Don't have it yet? Order anyway and reply to your confirmation email with it later. For handwriting on the back, upload a photo of the words you'd like, written in their hand.
We check every print before we make anything. If it isn't clear enough to engrave well, we'll tell you and help you get a better one.

A square-link chain that's sturdier than a fine cable chain, made to be worn every day.
Care
Wipe gently with a soft cloth and store it on its own so the chain doesn't tangle. Take it off for swimming, and keep perfume and lotion away from the engraving.

Do I need the fingerprint before I order? No. Upload it on this page if you have it. If not, order now and reply to your confirmation email with the photo later.
What if my print isn't clear enough? We check every print before we make anything. If it won't engrave well, we'll tell you and help you get a better one.
Can I add something to the back? Yes: a name, a date or a few words in their own handwriting. It's included. Type it in above, or upload a photo of their handwriting.
Which length should I choose? 16 inches sits near the base of the neck, 18 inches just below the collarbone, and 20 inches a little lower on the chest.
